Ingredients:
1 ½ cups Arborio rice
1 ½ tsp. cinnamon powder
1 cup apple juice
3 cups milk
1/2 cup cherries; dried
1/3 cup brown sugar
A pinch of salt
2 tbsp. butter
2 apples; cored and sliced
Preparation:
Breakfast cherries risotto is the perfect dish for a lazy weekend morning. It’s airy, creamy, and packed with flavor from the fresh cherries, apples, and cinnamon. Best of all, it comes together in just minutes in your air fryer.
To start, melt the butter in the air fryer pan over medium heat. Then add the rice and cook, stirring frequently, for 4-5 minutes until the rice is evenly coated and beginning to turn golden brown.
Next, add the sugar, apples, apple juice, milk, cinnamon, and cherries to the air fryer and mix well. Cook for 8 minutes at 350 °F. Once finished, divide the mixture into bowls and enjoy!
